iñigo's rashes finally subsided. for two days his skin was like of a lapu-lapu fish, as his daddy mused. it's not really itchy so i wasn't also bothered. he just played around his playroom last sunday after we went back from the hospital.
before i had him admitted in mmc last friday, his fever was on and off for four straight days and his temperature went as high as 39.9 degrees. on the 6th day the rashes appeared.
the doctors were suspecting that it's dengue so little boy had to undergo 3 cbc exams to monitor his platelet count which actually dropped in the first two exams. it was really heartbeaking for me to see and hear him crying frantically which was like a plead for me to stop the whole ordeal of blood extraction.
i'd like to blame the rashes now for coming out too late so the doctors have already confirmed as early as thursday that it's not dengue and only a tigdas hangin so my little boy was spared from the 2 cbc exams.
ayun tuloy... he developed some sort of pseudo-trauma from those experiences. he would cry once a doctor or nurse would get near him.
*sob* ang mommy.
